Gen3Block started in Northampton in May 2025 after seeing the same problem repeatedly: organisations wanted to use AI, but were often starting with tools and automation before understanding whether their data, people and governance were ready.
So we built the opposite.
We created a free AI readiness assessment that looks at strategy, skills, data and governance before implementation begins.
In our first year, that grew into production systems supporting organisations across 10+ countries, a South Midlands Growth Hub grant, the Gen3Block assessment platform, and the open-source gdpr-safe-rag toolkit.
We're based in Northampton and remain founder-led.
