Pre-requisites

None. A laptop and curiosity.

A five-day intensive introduction to AI for school leavers, career starters, and anyone new to AI. No technical background required. By the end of the week, you will understand what AI actually does, how to use it safely, and how to talk about it in a university application or job interview.

Every session is delivered personally by Charles Nwankpa, AWS Certified ML Engineer and BCS AI Ethics practitioner. You get his full attention, not a recorded video and a Slack channel.

What you will walk away with

Understand

Explain what AI is, how it works, and where its real limits lie, in plain English, not jargon.

Use safely

Use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT effectively through prompt engineering, without falling for the hype.

Spot risks

Identify bias, data quality issues, and ethical risks in AI systems before they become problems.

Know the law

Describe the UK AI Act and GDPR in plain English. Knowledge that already sets you apart from most candidates.

Build something

Complete and present a small AI-enabled project to a non-technical audience, start to finish.

Own your CV

Write about AI skills confidently on a CV, personal statement, or LinkedIn profile, because you actually have them.

On completion
